Senior Java Engineer (Integration)

What will you bring:

• 5+ years of experience working in Software Development;
• Solid experience inJava 8;
• Solid experience in Java open source frameworks, including developing using modern frameworks, e.g. Spring Boot;
• Deep Expertise in designing & developingRESTful APIs andmicroservices-based system;
• Proven experience using API’s and microservices utilizingAWS;
• Practical experience in Containers (ECS, Kubernetes, Docker) and FaaS (AWS Lambda) technologies;
• Experience in Agile development environments;
• Well-versed in writing structured, well-documented, maintainable and clean code;
• Strong English communication skills (both verbal & written), especially in the global software development environment

Other experience covers:

• Experience inNodejs (big bonus)
• Strong analytical / problem-solving skills,
• High level of software engineering practices and standards - clean code, Test Driven Development approaches, Experience with Automated UI Testing, Unit Testing, and Dependency Injection and Agile mindset.
• Modern CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g. Git, Ansible, Jenkins, Gulp, NPM, Gradle).
• Cloud computing with AWS - EC2, RDS, ECS, Serverless
• University degree in IT field or equivalent industry experience
• Banking or Financial services industry (preferable)
