The web designer should also be able to over all aspects of creating a website including
- Writing and editing content, designing webpage layout, and determining technical requirements.
- Updating websites, creating back up files, and maintaining server/database in relation to the website
- Solving code problems, troubleshooting issues, and fixing defects related to the website.
- Executing all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
- Conceptualizing original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocks
- Creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas
- Presenting and defending designs and key deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
- Establishing and promoting design guidelines, best practices and standards
Yêu cầu kinh nghiệm
- Proven work experience as a web designer and demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
- Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for rapid prototyping and understanding of web framework preferably Django and Wordpress
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
